In a world of one’s and zero’s is there room for the human race? I hope so, I think so. Technology is advancing faster and faster every day. Our lives move closer and closer to automation, closer and closer to limited artificial intelligence takeover but is this wholly good or wholly bad? Most skeptics think the latter, while the optimist think only good can come of this fourth industrial revolution, either way there are some changes coming and we should probably be prepared.
Over the next few weeks I’ll be laying out a road map of things that will most likely be coming our way. I hope to provide as much details as I can but I’m not an expert in the field only a passionate observer, so the scope of my knowledge is rather limited. The thing about AI is that it makes us ask a lot of questions, what will future jobs look like? What will we do when the majority of jobs are automated? Will my job be at stake? What does it mean to be human? I’ll do my best to answer these questions with a bit of unprofessional, personal opinion sprinkled in. So check back over the next few days to read part 2 in this series where I’ll explain why and how AI will become so advanced over the next ten to twenty years.
